SOAP is made from the chemical reaction that occurs when mixing fatty acids, lye, and water. We DO NOT USE any water to make our soaps, only our own fresh goat milk. Lye acts as the chemical emulsifier that bonds fatty acids with water molecules by generating heat. This process is called saponification.
SOAP CANNOT BE MADE WITHOUT LYE.
Our GOAT MILK SOAPS are all handcrafted in small batches. We use only the best oils and butters for our soaps sourced from well known suppliers. Each oil/butter has its own fatty acid composition and these fatty acids provide the soap with important characteristics, such as hardness, cleansing, conditioning and lather. We have chosen our oils carefully to create a wonderfully balanced bar of soap that is cleansing, conditioning and with a creamy, rich lather. Our soaps are made from a combination of the following oils: Avocado, Castor, Coconut, Olive, Shea Butter and Locally Sourced Tallow
WE USE ONLY FRESH GOAT MILK FROM OUR OWN GOATS No water is ever used.
GOAT MILK contains ALPHA HYDROXY ACIDS. These acids help to remove dead skin cells from your skin's surface by breaking down the bonds that hold the dead skin cells together. This can leave your skin looking younger and smoother.
GOAT MILK is high in VITAMIN A. Vitamin A is necessary to repair damaged skin tissue, and maintain healthy skin.
Fat molecules are important to making good soap. Our GOAT MILK come from our own herd of Nigerian Dwarf Goats. This breed of goat is known for its high butterfat content and their ability to produce milk year round. Their milk, along with "superfatting", helps to boost the moisturizing quality of our GOATMILK SOAPS.
