Carvanjo Farm is located in White Haven, Pennsylvania, just on the edge of the beautiful Pocono Mountains. We are just off of I-80 and close to the PA Turnpike, Pocono exit.
Our 26 acre farm is home to a growing herd of ADGA registered Nigerian Dwarf goats. We raise our own chickens for meat and eggs and plant a garden each year.
I began selling my soap, first to friends, then at local farmer's markets and craft shows. I love making soap because it is a creative process and handcrafted soap is so much better for you than commercially produced soaps.

- So many people have asked me if "Carvanjo" is my maiden name. It is not. The farm got it's name from my father-in-law, Joe Welshko. The farm has been in my husband's side of the family for many years. My father in law came up with the name "CARVANJO" naming after the previous owners of the farm, Carl, Ann, Veronica and Joe. Great Uncle Carl had dairy goats and use to provide fresh, nutritious milk to the TB sanitariums that were in the area.

So in some ways the farm has come full circle, once again being home to dairy goats. Starting in 2019 we began participating in DHIR and LA with our goats.
Our goats are tested annually for CAE and we are negative. We used to test for CL and Johnes and have always been negative. We have never had a case of CL on our property.
